Erica Lindquist is the Senior Director of Business Acumen at ADvancing States. With more than 20 years of experience working in the field of aging and disabilities at the local, regional and national level, she has most recently been helping to build the capacity of community-based organizations (CBOs) serving people with physical and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities to contract with integrated care and other health sector entities. She began her career as the director of a senior housing facility for people with advanced dementia before she joined the provider relations department of a fully-integrated dually eligible, special needs plan (FIDE-SNP) that integrated health and long-term support services, including home and community-based services, physician services, and all medical care for frail elders and adults with developmental or physical disabilities. Before joining ADvancing States, Erica worked at the National Committee for Quality Assurance where she helped with the development of process and outcome measures for long term services and supports.
Erica has devoted her career to improving the care and delivery of people requiring home and community based services. She has expertise in gerontology, education, quality improvement, and acute, primary, and long-term services and supports integration. She is skilled in the management and facilitation of cross-organizational training and sharing programs (e.g. learning collaboratives) and in the design and implementation of outcome-based provider reimbursement models. Erica has an established history of developing strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and positively organizing and influencing rapid organizational change.
